Make a Clock from Fabric, Pictures, and a CD!

October 3rd, 2011

Kris had the opportunity to be a part of KSL/NBC’s Studio 5 program. They gave her a design challenge where she began with a bag filled with bingo numbers. Watch the video and see what she came up with using some fabric, pictures, the bingo numbers, AND an old CD!

question…once the clock/cd is mounted on the canvas, how do you change the battery? Seems you’d need to cut a hole in the canvas where the clock movement will go through, glue the cd to the canvas, mount the clock hands, and add battery….????

I really have just discovered this site, and some many of the projects I absolutely love, however it seems you never show the last step. For instance, how do you mount the clock/cd to the canvas? Thanks

Loved the idea of creating a clock from a CD that has lost it’s usefullness – I love recycling things into craft items, as it cuts down on your cost of making the crafts. I too would like to see the back of the covered frame, I’m sure you finished it off beautifully, and how to assemble the clock to the cd and canvas would be most helpful.
