It’s that time of year when many of us may be thinking:
- “I really need to lose 10 lbs…”
- “I want to spend more time with my family…”
- “I want to find more balance in my life…”
- “I need to stop eating chocolate-covered cinnamon bears…” (ok, maybe not that drastic) LOL
Sound familiar? 
Yes, it’s the good ol’ “New Year’s Resolutions.”
But this year, I’m just going to add more to my plate (not the dinner plate…) but the idea that I want to do “more of this…and less of that” kind of idea. Maybe something like this:
- “I’ll play more with my kids…and work less.”
- “I’ll read more…and watch less.”
- “I’ll eat more (whole foods)…and eat less (processed foods)”
- “I’ll run more…and sit less.”
- “I’ll enjoy life more…and worry less.”
You know, that kind of thing. Nothing too drastic. Nothing over-the-top-and-be-done-with-it-2-weeks-later, kind of thing. Which all leads me to this week’s sponsored giveaway from Gamestop.

My resolution is to clean out my basement. Of course, I haven’t started yet. lol
I would love to win Just Dance Kids. My grandkids would love it. My goal this year is to eat more fruits and vegetables and less sweets.
I think our family would love the dance for kids! I can just see my kids moving all over the baesment floor to play!!

I’ve heard of several families that have been enjoying the Just Dance games. I think our family would have fun with one of these. Of course, things would get silly…..

We would have a blast playing wii mario party and just dance.
My new years resolution is to participate in a triathlon. I figured “working out everyday” wouldn’t cut it, I needed something to work towards.
My new years resolution is to turn things around, to get the education I need and deserve, to find a career path that’s suited to my interests and where I’ll be appreciated, so that by 2010 my fiance and I can be working towards buying our own house and starting our little family! It’s going to be a lot of hard work, but will be done! You could say, I’ve got my plate full.

My New Year’s Resolution was decided on to improve my health. Because of medical reasons, I am cutting sugar out of my diet. It’s been very hard, especially since I my heritage is from the South, and dessert was one of our food groups! But I am still doing a good job so far. Natural fruits are tasting better and better every day!

One of my New Year’s Resolutions is to seek out the good in all situations and find a way make an influence on others. My family would love Donkey Kong Country Returns for the Wii. We love our Wii and have a lot exercise programs and Wii Fit. I think it would be great to introduce a “classic” to our collection.
I am working on balance. With everything in my life there needs to be balance. I have two boys left at home, one gone. One is in college and the last one in 8th grade. My time with them is short. So, 6 months ago I bought a wii so we could play games together. I think we would enjoy Kinect!! Something we can play together is always best. My boys are such blessings in my life and time is ticking away!!

My New Year resloution, well one of them anyway, is “Don’t sweat the small stuff”.
My family and I would love the Wii ‘Family Game Night’ … our resolution is to spend more quality time together and get more fit. This economy has really put a damper on that, what with the price of gas, movie tickets, etc. We don’t get out as much. Choices have been minimized. So, family time is more important than ever.
My resolution is to work on my scrapbook! This year I will also be focusing on potty training and cooking more with my family….

One of my resolutions and I say one because there are several (lol) is to eat more dinners at the dinner table as a family. My kitchen table is always filled up with my sewing or monogram machines. I just like to sew in the kitchen. We love to play the wii as a family so this would be great for us.

Resolution is to simplify and declutter our home.
My resolution is to read one classic book a month, half way through Crime and Punishment I have alot of pages to go in the next 10 days! I would love to play EA Active 2, I work out with my wii every morning, great way to start the day!!

Well my New Year resolution is to learn some thing New. So this year our family has been learning all about bees and our hive is on order and will be here in a few months. We are so excited.

I think my family’s favorite would be family game night 3. My resolution is to spend more time focusing on my children in a positive way. We have had a really hard year financially and have had to cut back on everything even if it means dissappointing the children at the book fair and things. But what I have gained out of all the hard times we have endoured is that we have each other and at the end of the day that’s all that matters! So I changed my attitude to a positive glass is half full one and we make it a point to spend FREE FAMILY TIME TOGTHER after all MEMORIES are what really count!

Our New Years resolutions was to lose weight. I am in a wedding in the middle of this year and this year we have actually stuck with it and seeing the results have been great! Eating healthier wasnt fun at first but now i see how worth it it is!!
This year I would like to involve my self more in my kids interest (they LOVE video games) for that reason we alredy got the just dance kids (for the Wii) and the whole family is enjoying it so much! They enjoy adventure video games so I would love to get them Donkey Kong Country next, it would be even better if I can get it for free
My granddaughter would love the Mario Bros game for the Wii – she is a big fan. We have all been doing more and moving more and sitting less! Working well for now!

The Biggest Loser Challange would by my pick. And I want to loose weight in 2011
We would love the Zumba I think, and the Just Dance. My resolution is to spend less time on the computer, more time with my daughter, & exercise more.
Our family actually resolved together to spend more time together that does notinclude only watching tv. So this would be great! We have already had some game nights, including wii activity games we can play together. One game we’ love to add is the Family Gamenight. That looks fun!
One of my resolutions is to try to be creative every day, no matter how large or small the project may be. I started a week late, but so far so good.
The Zumba would be great ! Also the Family game Night for my daughters family. But Zumba for me for sure!!
For myself and my family I think it would be a toss up between Your Shape Fitness Evolved and Zumba Fitness: Join the party. Both look like fun ways to incorporate fitness into our lives especially during the winter, when we tend to stay indoors more.

I really don’t do resolutions, but I have set a goal to move my craft room upstairs and my hubby is going to redesign the room for me. The goal is to have it done by spring.

Just Dance Kids! Our 6 yr. old grandson has been doing the Just Dance and it would be nice to have some age appropriate music for him. He also has lost some weight and has so much fun doing it with the Wii.
We love our Wii and it is a great way for the whole family to participate. We have a lot of laughter and lots of memory making moments!
My daughter is having a blast with Just Dance 2 … I think I would love to get going with the Biggest Loser for Wii! We can all get in shape together!

One of my resolutions for this year is to grow more of our own food and to buy as much locally grown as possible.
