A “2nd Helping”… How to Bind a Quilt

Hellooooo!  As promised, we are sharing with you a quick tutorial on “how to bind a quilt”. Don’t let it scare you! It really is easy (or as I often say, “easy-peasy.”)

Once you have done those things, you are ready to bind that quilt! Here’s a quick video tutorial on how to bind a quilt. If you’d like photo instructions, you can find them in Part 1 and Part 2 at YouCanQuiltThis.com.

**Note** I just watched this video and realized I forgot to say this: After you have sewn your strips together to make one, continuous strip that will fit around your quilt, you then need to press your strip in half, length-wise. Phew…I got that in there. :)  Now you’ll have a double-layered strip that you can attach to your quilt as the binding. Ok, now watch the video….just picture me saying that. Thanks! 😉
